The Career 乌鸦传媒 department in SD62 provides students from Kindergarten through Grade 12鈥攁nd beyond鈥攚ith meaningful pathways to employment, post-secondary education, and skilled trades. 乌鸦传媒 work aligns with both the District鈥檚 Strategic Plan and the Ministry of 乌鸦传媒 and Child Care鈥檚 Vision for Student Success. In support of the Ministry鈥檚 goal of developing the 鈥淓ducated Citizen,鈥 our team is committed to fostering students鈥 intellectual, human and social, and career development through engaging, hands-on learning experiences, 鈥渟ee it, be it鈥 opportunities, and robust dual credit and trades training programs.
In Grades K鈥8, we collaborate with school staff to deliver experiential learning opportunities such as inSpire presentations and Junior Skills Canada events and competitions.
In Grades 9鈥12, we support the Career 乌鸦传媒 departments at all four secondary schools by offering students a wide range of career pathways, including work experience placements, post-secondary dual credit courses and programs, and skilled trades training through Youth Work in Trades and Youth Train in Trades.
